I've seen many people being gracious and ungracious in public transports.
Some people who saw the elderly, the pregnant women or the handicapped in trains and buses will offer up their seats for them while others tend to "fall asleep" or pretend they dont see the needy.
Gracious people are very compassionate, kindhearted and caring. Hence they deserve compliments from the public.
Ungracious people, however, are the total opposite. They are selfish, uncaring and they are definitely not compassionate! Hence they should be belittled by the public.
Throughout this whole graciousness project has taught how to be a gracious person.
Therefore, I will start showing my graciousness to the public! (:

Now our group are currently working on our last task which is our video. The difficulties we are facing are: group members could not meet the dates which we are supposed to film the video so we have to postpone it to a further dates. There's nothing else to be done except for editing the video after we have film finish. I can say we are on track for finishing our project on time. we managed to hand in our posters on time too. I am looking forward to for my project is that more people can become more gracious towards others after we had done finish our project. Such as not littering, giving up seats to the elderly, keeping the toliets clean and many other gracious act.

today,im feeling mad when i took the mrt! Singaporean ppl are really not gracious at all!As we know, weekdays,4 plus start, mrt will be pack wif people. People will be squeezin in and out of the mrt . Today, 6pm something, when i was boarding my mrt,i am able to step inside the mrt n prepare to home sweet home. when it got to yew tee station, i was been push n push by those busy singaporeans. I almost fall . I stare at those people, and wanted to shout at them .i was so angry that i message my friend, that i HATE to take public transport. Why are singaporeans so desperate for something ? They can slowly get out of the mrt right , wat for so rush ? go sucide or whatever ?
I feel so ashame of me being a singaporean. When it reach my stop, i slowly get out. The door would not close so fast right ? if it close, can go opposite mrt to get back to your destination. i do not know what to say at all. ONE WORD, ashame .
i finish my post le (:

Hello!
For our english project on graciousness, our group has decided to focus on educating the people in keeping the environment clean by not littering, and commutersgiving up seats in buses and trains, and keeping our toliets and cineams clean. we picked this topic as littering in public places and commuters not giving up seats for the elderly and pregnant women in buses and trains plus people not keepng hte toliets and cineams clean have been common in Singapore nowdays. When this happens, the cleansers have to work extra hard to clean those litters that the people had made to the environment. Also, people make the toilets more dirtier after the cleaner have just cleaned the toliets and Singaporeans just leave their trash behind and leave. This also make the cleaner to put in more effort in cleaning the toilets and cinemas. Plus it will also affect the image on how tourists think of Singapore. "A CLEAN AND GREEN COUNTRY". Commuters do not even bother to give up their seats to peoplewho needed it most. By this selfishness act, it will cause danger to the elderly and pregnanr women. What happens if they fall downs and injure themselves? The commuters do not even think of these consequences.
In order to achieve our aim of edcuating the people to give up seats in trains and buses, not to litter in public areas and cinemas, and not to dirty the toilets. We will be also be showing videos and pictures to the people and educate them. We will also be posting on how everyone could play part in making the environment, toliets and cinemas clean. Plus on giving up seats to the people that needed most.
Kelvin will be the group leader, ensuring that we all keep to our assigned deadlines. Each group members will be playing a part in brainstorming ideas and posting in the blog. Edcuating the people in making Singapore to become a gracious country.
